I have fifteen spoiled piggies of my own, all rescues. Allow me to introduce them to you...
Natasha

Natasha is an eight year old sow. She had a hard start on life and is very happy to be "retired". Out of all fifteen of my piggies she is the most mellow and friendly.
Belle

Belle is a very loving pig. She is great with the kids and loves attention. Her greatest love is food. She is the largest piggie in the cage and weighs in at over three pounds. Belle is five-six years old.
Mr. Peabody and Dudley

Peabody is a piggie with an attitude and I love that about him. Dudley is a fun pig always having a smile on his face. They truly are the best of friends. I am putting them together on this page, because they can not stand to be apart. When I hold one of them, the other cries for his friend. They are both about six years old.
Sherman

Sherman is a six-seven year old neutered boar. He is the only one of my boars that is lucky enough to live with a cage full of ladies. Sherman and Sidney were a breeding pair before they were rescued. When we adopted them, we had Sherman neutered so he could happily live with Sidney once again.
Sidney

Sidney is a six year old sow. She is very friendly and takes life in strides. Nothing seems to ever get her down. She has the softest hair I ever felt on a piggie. She does not mind being brushed, as long as I remind her how beautiful she is.
Allie-Belle

Allie-Belle is another one of our babies. She is close to celebrating her third birthday. Allie thinks that she can get away with anything, and I guess she usually does. She is such a cutie pie is hard to ever get mad at her. She has taken on the job of cage hairdresser and has made Sherman her main client. Poor Sherman. Allie really needs to find a new hobby. Bad little pig!
Lacey and Lucy

These two little pigs were at a dog pound for quite a while before coming to live with us. Both girls are still a little skittish, but are slowly beginning to warm up to us. Lacey is the one with the one pink ear, one grey ear, and Lucy has two grey ears. I am not sure if the girls are related or not, but we think they are. Lacey is larger and friendlier than Lucy. They are estimated to be about four years old.
Spencer
Spencer is a sweet boy with tons of personality. He is a lady charmer, although has no ladies of his own. He sings to the ladies in the cage next door all of the time and loves to flirt. Spencer wishes he could trade in his current cagemate for a few woman. Having a hard life and spending a long time at the rescue waiting for a forever home he is a very grateful pig and never takes anything for granted. Clean his cage and he even popcorns. Spencer is seven years old.
Hopkins was adopted the sametime as Spencer. He is very docile and easy going. Hopkins is one of the sweetest pigs I have ever met. He allows Spencer to boss him around and he is content just taking life in strides. Hopkins waited a very long time to find his forever home, and sometimes I think he was just waiting for me to come and get him since I looked at his picture on Petfinder for over five months. I guess he was just meant to be a WEAVER pig. I feel lucky to have him. Hopkins is four-five years old.
Rosa
Rosa is a fun pig, and she is so full of personality. She is very easy going and quite the charactor. She lives with Emma and Maggie two piggies that were adopted at the sametime she was. We adopted her from the Humane Society after losing two of our favorite piggies. Rosa and her friends have made wonderful additions to our piggie family.
Emma

Emma is the bossy girl of the cage. She is much like the big sister. She is always in everyone's business and wanting to make sure that she is not missing out on anything. Everything has to go her way, or she is not happy. Even though she acts this way with her cagemates, she is a very sweet little pig with me. She loves to be held and snuggles with and even lays down on my lap and goes so sleep. She is a great addition to our herd.
Maggie

Maggie when we first adopted her was very shy and skittish. She was so uneasy about everything and ran anytime we came into the room. In just the little bit of time she has been here she has done a complete turn around. She has became so carefree, and easy going. She loves attention and treats. She is tolerating be held and has started to feel comfortable enough to eat while she is on my lap. I love watching her as she realizes living at the Weaver house truly is not a bad thing. I am truly smitten by her.
Jasmine

Jasmine is our newest addition. She is a really sweet little pig and our only chirper. She loves to whistle in the middle of the night and does not care who she wakes up. I waited a LONG time for this special girl...well any solid black piggie to come into rescue. Five years later we were lucky enough to offer this little girl a forever home. She has made our piggie family complete =) Thank you Georgia Guinea Pig Rescue!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
After sewing beds in my diningroom for over four years, and having fifteen pigs in our master bedroom for as long as I can remember, we FINALLY put a MUCH needed addition onto our small home. It is perfect for the pigs and my sewing and I am so thankful to have this space. Come and visit us at the "new" Cozy Cavy!
As you walk into the doorway of the room this is what you see. My computer and work desk is by the frech door, and my sewing desk is at the back of the room.
Girls' cages are at the front of the room, and my boys' cages are at the back of the room. The laundry hamper is used to store the pigs' hay and makes it easy to wheel from cage to cage to provide the pigs plenty of hay throughout the day.
This is the view from the back of the room by my sewing desk. These are my girls' cages.
I want to thank everyone for your business and support. Without your help, I would not be able to help the pigs and rescues that I do, nor would I have been able to put this wonderful room on our home to give my sanctuary piggies a space of their own. Words can not even begin to descibed how thankful I am. Thank you for helping me make a difference...one pig at a time.
